ΣΥΝΤΟΜΗ ΠΑΡΟΥΣΙΑΣΗ ΚΑΛΛΙΤΕΧΝΙΚΗΣ ΠΟΡΕΙΑΣ

Η Ιωάννα Παρασκευά είναι Ελληνίδα εικαστικός με έδρα την Αθήνα.

Για την ίδια, η δημιουργία δεν αποτελεί απλή αποτύπωση, αλλά αποτέλεσμα κατανόησης. Κάθε έργο, και ιδιαίτερα κάθε ολοκληρωμένη καλλιτεχνική ενότητα, προκύπτει μέσα από μελέτη, αναζήτηση και εμβάθυνση, με στόχο την ουσιαστική απόδοση του περιεχομένου του. Η ερευνητική αυτή διαδικασία αποτελεί βασικό άξονα επιλογής των θεμάτων με τα οποία καταπιάνεται.

Στο πλαίσιο αυτό, αναπτύσσει συχνά ολοκληρωμένα και διαδραστικά καλλιτεχνικά εγχειρήματα, επιδιώκοντας την ενεργή εμπλοκή του θεατή μέσα από θεματικές κοινωνικού, ιστορικού και πολιτιστικού περιεχομένου.

Διαθέτει επίσης πολυετή επαγγελματική εμπειρία στον τομέα της οργάνωσης και διοίκησης επιχειρήσεων, καθώς και πιστοποίηση ως επιθεωρητής ποιότητας. Η επαγγελματική της δραστηριότητα της έδωσε τη δυνατότητα να ταξιδέψει εκτενώς και να έρθει σε επαφή με διαφορετικά πολιτισμικά περιβάλλοντα, συμβάλλοντας στη διαμόρφωση ενός πολυδιάστατου εικαστικού λόγου, εμπλουτισμένου με ποικίλες αναφορές και επιρροές.

Σημαντικό μέρος της καλλιτεχνική της δραστηριότητας αφορά στην ανάπτυξη έργων (ζωγραφικής και γλυπτικής) με κοινωνικό και εκπαιδευτικό χαρακτήρα.  Η διαδραστική εικαστική έκθεση της «iamnotadoll_project (2021 – σήμερα) έχει ήδη παρουσιαστεί σε πλήθος εκδηλώσεων στην Ελλάδα και το εξωτερικό, με συμμετοχή άνω των 14.000 παιδιών και πολλών χιλιάδων ενηλίκων και συνεχίζει την πορεία της. Το έργο εντάσσεται θεματικά στους Στόχους Βιώσιμης Ανάπτυξης των Ηνωμένων Εθνών (SDG5 & 16.2) με ιδιαίτερη έμφαση στα ανθρώπινα δικαιώματα, ενώ έχει τεθεί υπό την αιγίδα θεσμικών φορέων και έχει φιλοξενηθεί από διεθνείς οργανισμούς και πρεσβείες.

Παράλληλα,  συνεργάζεται από το 2017 με την Παιδική Πινακοθήκη Ελλάδας ως καλλιτεχνική επιμελήτρια και σύμβουλος εκπαιδευτικών προγραμμάτων, συμβάλλοντας ενεργά στη διαμόρφωση και υλοποίηση δράσεων με έντονο εκπαιδευτικό, πολιτιστικό και κοινωνικό αποτύπωμα.

Δημιουργεί τα έργα της με κέντρο τον άνθρωπο και η καλλιτεχνική διαδικασία
καθοδηγείται από την παρόρμηση να αποτυπωθεί έντονα στο έργο η δύναμη της
προσωπικότητας αλλά και το συναίσθημα.

Στην Ιωάννα αρέσει να χρησιμοποιεί την τέχνη για να οπτικοποιεί μια ιστορία και να
δημιουργεί διάδραση του θεατή με το έργο «παρασύροντας» τον να πάρει μέρος
βιωματικά σε αυτήν την ιστορία.

Brief Overview

Ioanna Paraskeva is a Greek visual artist based in Athens.
For her, creation is not a simple act of depiction, but the result of understanding. Each work—particularly every cohesive body of work—emerges through study, research, and in-depth exploration, aiming at the meaningful expression of its content. This investigative process forms a fundamental axis in her selection of themes.

Within this framework, she frequently develops complete and interactive artistic projects, seeking the active engagement of the viewer through themes rooted in social, historical, and cultural contexts.
She also has many years of professional experience in business organization and management, as well as certification as a quality auditor.

Her professional background has enabled her to travel extensively and engage with diverse cultural environments, contributing to the formation of a multidimensional artistic language enriched with varied references and influences.

A significant part of her artistic activity focuses on the development of works (painting and sculpture) with a social and educational character. Her interactive exhibition “iamnotadoll_project” (2021–present) has already been presented at numerous events in Greece and abroad, involving over 14,000 children and thousands of adults, and continues its journey. The project is aligned with the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs 5 & 16.2), with particular emphasis on human rights, and has been held under the auspices of institutional bodies while also being hosted by international organizations and embassies.

Since 2017, she has also collaborated with the Children’s Art Gallery of Greece as an artistic curator and educational program consultant, actively contributing to the design and implementation of initiatives with strong educational, cultural, and social impact.

She creates her works with a human-centered approach, while her artistic process is driven by the urge to strongly convey both the power of personality and emotion.
Ioanna enjoys using art to visualize a story and to create an interactive experience with the viewer, “drawing” them into participating in that story on a lived, experiential level.
